Public Art Chattanooga and the Northshore Community Public Art Committee are seeking qualifications from artists or artist teams for the commission and installation of a permanent work of public art in the North Shore. Up to five finalists will be selected to develop concept proposals for this project. Each will be paid a $500 proposal fee. The project budget for the selected commission is $30,000. The opportunity is open to all professional artists and artist teams over the age of 18 who currently reside in the United States. All applications must be received by mail, hand delivery or electronically by 4 p.m. on March 2. The application can be downloaded at publicartchattanooga.com/about/callstoartists.htm.
