Walk A Mile in Her Shoes

Hey guys, have ever heard a woman say, “You couldn’t walk a mile in my shoes”? Well, could you? What about if they there heels?

The Partnership’s Sexual Assault Center is calling on men to put themselves in her shoes, literally, and walk a mile in order to raise awareness for sexual violence against women.

Walk A Mile In Her Shoes Chattanooga will take place Saturday, April 27. Registration will begin at 9 a.m. and the walk will begin at 10 a.m. in Coolidge Park.

For those of you worried, have no fear, men. If your city council member Manny Rico can do it, so can you.

This center is the only rape center in the city and all proceeds from this event will help offer more services to victims of rape. Nearly 500 victims of rape walked through the doors of our Sexual Assault Center last year alone.

The registration fee for the walk is $35 for men and $15 for women.

For more information on the event please call (423) 697-3829. To register online and secure your shoe rentals visit www.walkamilechatt.org
