Our super-rainy summer has put the kibosh on lots of outdoor events, including the popular Chattanooga Nature Center Bat Watch that was scheduled earlier this season. But (always barring more crazy weather), you’ll get another chance to see the gentle flying creatures on Aug. 24 with the Moonlight Paddle.
Interested wildlife observers should meet at the Chattanooga Arboretum and Nature Center at Reflection Riding for an informative power point presentation about bats. Corey Hagen will lead a moonlight paddle along Lookout Creek. Paddlers may see bats as well as other interesting wildlife.
