How to Find EV Chargers

"where do you go to get juice when the battery runs low?" Great question! As an Electric Vehicle (EV) driver for 18 months, I'd like to recommend plugshare.com (disclosure: I have no financial interest in this site).

Type "chattanooga" in the search box in the upper left to center the map. Then click "More options..." in the upper right to select the type of charger you need - the destination / home charger standard supported by every plug-in EV (J1772) or one of the three common fast charger standards (Tesla SuperCharger, CHAdeMO DCFC, or CCS DCFC). Destination chargers will be shown as green pegs, registered home chargers as blue pegs, and fast chargers as orange pegs.

Then click a peg for charger details, availability, reviews, photos and the like. PlugShare is social, so you can also add new chargers to the database as you discover them, and add your own reviews and photos.

I've found this site extremely useful for locating the growing fleet of chargers around the city, and a good answer to the above question.
