Looking for the perfect way for the family to enjoy these last few days of nice fall weather? Mark your calendars for Saturday, Nov. 8 from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m., for this year’s NormalPalooza.
Back for its 12th year, organizers describe NormalPalooza as a “free yearly event celebrating a tradition of friendship between artists, craftspeople, musicians, local businesses, and neighbors of Normal Park Museum Magnet.”
This year’s festival at Normal Upper School features the work of over 60 artists and craftsman, a kids’ zone that includes a rock-climbing wall, inflatables and a spider jump, a bounce house and obstacle course for the little ones, a petting zoo, dancers, a magician, a Lego demo, a cake walk, a kid’s craft tent and much more.
Go hungry, because some of Chattanooga’s favorite restaurants and food trucks will be on site for you to grab a delicious bite to eat.
And of course, it’s not a festival without live music. Throughout the event, be sure to stop by the main stage to catch the musical styling of bluegrass band Slim Pickins, five-gallon bucket band FunkaBuckets, and vocalists Alex Volz and Nancy Sieters, among others.
So grab your kids, the neighbors’ kids and your pals and help the North Chattanooga community celebrate outstanding public education at NormalPalooza!
