For ceramics artist Richard Aerni, the process of ash glazing and single firing have marked the parameters of his decorative and functional pottery. Focusing on texture and form, Mr. Aerni feels in tune with the rhythm and pace that clay affords. Artist Ed Cook specializes in the art of miniature painting. Mr. Cook's love of nature can be seen in his small-scale acrylic renditions of old buildings, barns, and landscapes. Finding inspiration on every street corner, artist Joe Parrot is captivated by the interplay of light and shadow. Using thick brush strokes and attention to line and form, Mr. Parrot captures the energy of everyday life.
