“Un-Teal” There is a Cure Foundation Golf Tournament

The Karen Collins “Un-Teal” There is a Cure Foundation will host its 7^th annual fundraising golf tournament on Friday September 21, 2018 to raise money for ovarian cancer research.  

The event will be held at The Bear Trace Golf Course in Harrison, TN.  There will be an 8:00am and a 1:00pm flight.  The event will also include lunch, a silent auction, a raffle and awards.  For event details and sponsorship opportunities go to http://www.untealthereisacure.org/2018-golf .

Approximately 1 in 75 women will get ovarian cancer in their lifetime.  The American Cancer Society estimates that 22,240 women will be diagnosed with ovarian cancer and 14,070 women will die from ovarian cancer in 2018 in the United States alone.  Ranking fifth in cancer deaths among women, ovarian cancer accounts for more deaths than any other cancer of the female reproductive system.

The Karen Collins “Un-Teal” There is a Cure Foundation was established in 2012 to provide hope through ovarian cancer research.  Since then, the foundation has raised and donated in excess of $340,000 to life-saving research programs thanks to the generosity of sponsors, donors, event participants and volunteers.
