12th Annual Honey Harvest Celebration
to
Creative Discovery Museum 321 Chestnut Street, City of Chattanooga, Tennessee 37402
Buzz like a bee at a Creative Discovery Museum’s “sweetest” event! The 12th annual Honey Harvest Celebration will be held at Creative Discovery Museum on Saturday and Sunday, July 27 and 28 from 12 p.m. to 4 p.m. Honey Harvest, a one of a kind event in Chattanooga, is a museum wide celebration of some of the world’s hardest workers: Honey Bees. Museum guests will be awed by the life and work of the honey bee and learn how honey is made.
Visitors will have the opportunity to make their own honey lip balm, beeswax candles and honey soap to take home. Tasting different kinds of honey, participating in honey extraction and meeting beekeepers from the Tennessee Valley Beekeeper Association are highlights as well.
All activities are included with paid Museum admission.
With the wide range of known food allergies, the Museum can not guarantee that this program is allergen free. Please contact the Museum in advance if food allergies are a concern for your family.
