Lee University 1120 North Ocoee Street, Cleveland, Tennessee 37320
Lee University Theatre is performing "33 Variations" on Nov. 1 at 7:00pm, Nov. 2 at 7:30pm, and Nov. 7-9 at 7:30pm. The play intertwines the story of two geniuses, Beethoven and musicologist Katherine Brandt, as they both face life-altering medical conditions. A story of hope and reconciliation, "33 Variations" traces the development of Beethovens' famed masterpieces from a simple theme by a "nobody" music publisher into some of the greatest works ever written for the piano. In the end both characters learn about hope, resiliency and the human spirit. The show will be performed in Lee University's Dixon Center (on the corner of Church Street and 11th Street). Tickets are $10 for General Admission, $7 for Seniors, $7 for Children, and $7 for Students.
