The membership at In-Town Gallery gets into a festive mood just before the holidays as they busily prepare the gallery for the eagerly awaited reveal of new work. As one of the oldest, continuously operating cooperative galleries the tradition has been to keep things fresh by removing work shown for the previous six months. Artists and crafts people work from May to November to create new pieces for the changeover show. The infectious delight in the members appreciation of each other’s work carries over to the guests who enjoy learning about the methods, materials and inspiration for what is possibly a new direction for some. Be there to share in the excitement for the opening reception Friday, November 4, 5pm -8pm.
