Ambi Artists is a “cross-pollinator” where creatives of all stripes gather to reignite their creative spark. Typical get-togethers include writers & poets, fine artists & sculptors, photographers & filmmakers, just to name a few.
Although not required, you may also bring a recent artwork or "work-in-progress" for positive feedback and further inspiration.
Craft and Crop is also part of our monthly Ambi Artist Meeting.
Do you have a fun crafting project you need to start or are currently working on? We have plenty of space for all your creative needs whether you're designing clothes or costumes, painting a portrait, scrapbooking, crocheting, making jewelry, or whatever your craft of choice.
Food is potluck so please bring a dish or non alcoholic drink to share with everyone.
Here is a quote from Ms. Cameron:
"It is my belief and my experience as a teacher that all of us are healthy enough to practice creativity. It is not a dangerous endeavor requiring trained facilitators. It is our human birthright and something we can do gently and collectively. Creativity is like breathing – pointers may help, but we do the process ourselves.
Creative clusters, where we gather as peers to develop our strength, are best regarded as tribal gatherings, where creative beings raise, celebrate, and actualize the creative power which runs through us all."
Hope to see you there!
