Ars Supernova (not to be confused with the young Austin band of the same name) is an institution (in the good sense), dating back to the 1970s, when they were the restless spirits of rock/jazz/what-not in Jackson, Miss. Their periodic reunions are infrequent, and this swing through the southeast is cause for celebration. Core members who’ll be with us are Evan Gallagher, Bruce Golden and Jeb Stuart. They’ll be joined by one of the world’s best—namely Mr. Davey Williams on guitar.
