Art + Issues: Bridging Communities
to
Hunter Museum of American Art 10 Bluff View, City of Chattanooga, Tennessee 37403
Chattanooga is a city of bridges both real and conceptual as they bring people to the city as they transition to a new culture and way of life and likewise bring us in contact with new cultures from beyond our borders. In tonight’s art + issues, Gladys Pineda-Loher, Chattanooga State Director of International Communication Outreach, will guide us as we explore bridges represented in a Hunter painting and the bridges in our community. Travel across these bridges with us tonight. Free to all in the community. This is presented in partnership with The AIGA and tonight’s discussion is also in celebration of Hispanic Heritage Month.
