Camp Juliette Low in Cloudland will hold its annual open house and history tours this weekend, Nov. 28th and 29th. The hours for Saturday are 11am to 4pm and for Sunday 1pm to 4pm. The camp is located on approximately 320 acres in a natural setting of great beauty with the South Fork of the Little River running through the property. The Lodge, built in 1922, is on the National Register of Historic Places. In its 95th year of operation, Camp Juliette Low was established in 1922 by Juliette Gordon Low. Although no longer affiliated with the Girl Scouts, the camp retains the name of its founder. The Lodge will be open for viewing and historical photos and material will be on display. Those who wish can take a guided tour of the camp. Camp Juliette Low is located on GA. Hwy 157 approximately 1.2 miles north of the caution light in Cloudland. For more information see www.cjl.org.
