Thor Stein MD, PhD will deliver the Conference Keynote address, titled "Chronic Traumatic Encephalopathy (CTE) in Football and other Contact Sports"
Dr. Stein is Assistant Professor of Pathology, Boston University School of Medicine; and Faculty Staff Member at the BU CTE Center and CTE Brain Bank, Boston University School of Medicine Boston, MA.
CTE Center research activities were featured on the provocative PBS "Frontline" Special, League of Denial: The NFL's Concussion Crisis first aired in October 2013. Since then Dr. Stein and his colleagues have written a number of seminal papers on sports concussion, CTE and related brain pathologies.
