The Center officially opens on Sept. 3rd. Join us for an open house on Sept. 8 where you can see all the Center has to offer. Take a tour of the facilities and hear about the many programs, classes and workshops being offered. The Center for Mindful living is a place where people of diverse backgrounds can come to participate in a variety of mindfulness practices. Mindfulness is simply the practice of being present and accepting of others and ourselves without judgment or fear. Mindfulness can be achieved through various practices including meditation and other practices that encourage stress reduction and self-awareness.

The CML is a nonprofit organization and is funded mainly through memberships and generosity-based economics. Practically, that means that community members who pay for a membership receive benefits exclusive to their level of giving while ensuring that those of lower means still have access to the offerings of the Center.
