This Memorial Day weekend Chattanoogans and visitors will enjoy an American tradition – summertime Bar-B-Que, cold beer and live music.
It’s all happening Sunday at Chattanooga Market where several local pit-masters will be competing at our 5th Annual Beast Feast Bar-B-Que Contest. Here’s who’s competing:
Choo-Choo BBQ (People’s Choice Award 2012)
Lockhart’s Fire & Smoke BBQ
Porker’s BBQ (2nd place 2012)
Lazy Ash BBQ
Cornerstone BBQ (Judge’s Choice Award 2012)
Chatty Town BBQ
Whether it’s slathered or rubbed & doused in slopping sauce; spicy or mild; chicken, pork or beef; there’s a flavor for everyone. People’s Choice and Judge’s Favorite will determine which local Bar-B-Que expert takes home bragging rights.
Each pit-master will offer $1 Bar-B-Que bites all day long or market-goers can purchase a full plate of their favorite for an additional charge. It’s a great way to sample the best of Chattanooga’s Bar-B-Que while enjoying shopping and entertainment at Chattanooga Market. Our pig roast has become a popular sight to see at the event – join us on our Chattanooga Beast Feast Facebook page to see the fun from last year!
The day wouldn’t be complete without local band “The Stratoblasters” from KZ106 radio. They’ll perform rock N roll favorites on the EPB stage at 12:30 and an encore performance at 2:30pm. Annabelle’s Curse will play on our stage out front at 11:30 and 1:30.
