Saturday, June 22, Saturday, July 27 and Sunday, July 28, Saturday, August 10 from 12 p.m. to 1 p.m. Fresh, tasty vegetables are back in season and with the return of warm weather comes the third season of Cooking on the Rooftop: Summer Food Series at Creative Discovery Museum. Children and families are invited to put on their “chef” hats, as Chef Nick Goeller from 212 Market Restaurant teaches them how simple, fast and healthy meals can be. Chef Nick will be on-site preparing delicious, healthy summer favorites using local, fresh ingredients, including produce and herbs from Creative Discovery Museum’s Rooftop Garden. www.cdmfun.org

212 Market Restaurant has been serving American cuisine featuring locally-sourced and sustainable food in Downtown Chattanooga for more than 20 years and was the first certified green restaurant in the state of Tennessee. Vegetarian, gluten free, and child-friendly options are always available. This event is supported by funding from Arts Build of Greater Chattanooga and Tennessee Arts Commission.
