10:00 a.m. – 4:00 p.m. at Erlanger Medical Mall (Probasco Auditorium). Children's Hospital at Erlanger's Pediatric Gastroenterologist, Dr. Jeremy Screws, and area healthcare professionals will host a one-day conference for parents and caregivers of children who've been diagnosed with Eosinophilic GI disease. Patients 12 years and older are encouraged to attend with their parent/caregiver. Sessions will include learning about dietary elimination of cow’s milk, soy, wheat, eggs, nuts and shellfish while also learning about nutrition and growth on an elimination diet. Families will identify strategies to navigate the home and school environment and learn about food allergy testing. Lunch will be provided.
