Named after one of the boulevard's legendary jazz joints, the NightCap is an intimate concert series featuring local and regional talent.

Jermaine Purifory from Cleveland, Tennessee is a graduate of Lee University where he was a longtime member of the world renown "Voices of Lee". Voices of Lee were 3rd place finalists on NBC's hit show "The Sing Off" showcasing Acapella groups from around the country.
In 2010 Jermaine was a contestant on season 9 of "American Idol" receiving rave reviews from the judges and landed in the top 26 of male singers in the Hollywood rounds. He has also toured and released several albums with bands such as "Day One" based out of Nashville and the Acapella vocal group "Voice Avenue" who went on to tour with Christian music icon "Michael W. Smith".
In 2011 Jermaine moved out to LA after being hired as a session vocalist for FOX's hit show "GLEE". Since moving back home Jermaine has become a prolific performer in the Chattanooga area in both the music and theatre scene.
He has starred in locals plays such as Hairspray, Hair, and The Color Purple. He also performed as the third member with the chart-topping R&B group "After 7" for the annual "Night to Remember" 2014 here in Chattanooga, TN. He currently resides as the lead singer for Chattanooga's local band "TSJ SOUL" who performs for various events around the city and surrounding cities.
