Laughing and Screaming - Art Exhibition

Please join us on Thursday, October 5th, from 6-8pm for an opening reception of new work from our curator Aaron Cowan. This event is free and open to the public.

Aaron's current body of work is a reflection on growing up and living in the South, criss-crossing borders of reality and fantasy, danger and safety, destruction and beauty. Without becoming overtly political, the work wrestles with social expectations of masculinity, machismo & male behavior while staying true to one's self; at the same time there is a wreckless disregard of common sense in the pursuit of fun and pleasure with a flavor that is unmistakably 'Southern.'
