Alexander Schimpf has risen to prominence by impressively winning a series of competitions. Winning First Prize in 2011, he has recently emerged as the first German pianist ever to win the 2011 Cleveland International Piano Competition.
CSO extends an exclusive invitation to members of the Chattanooga Music Teachers’ Association to meet the artist as he explains his experience in preparation for piano competitions and shares helpful hints for others choosing to compete. Hosted by Maestra Kayoko Dan and Deanne Irvine
