On May 11, terraMáe Executive Chef Shelley Cooper will prepare a 3-course meal to honor mothers from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. at our Appalachian bistro.
Like your own mother did countless times, Chef Shelley will lovingly prepare a feast with fresh, seasonal ingredients. The meal will begin with a special homage to the egg and then move on to three courses, each containing unique selections to commemorate this special day. Your biggest challenge will be deciding which dishes to choose among our 3 courses and 15 different offerings.
The first course includes Corn Vichyssoise with lump crab cocktail and benne seed bacon as well as Spring Asparagus with country ham, creamy grits, a crisp soft egg and wild mushroom gravy. Our second course includes a Peanut Dusted Pork Tenderloin with sweet potato succotash, poached egg and a baby Vidalia onion jus as well as Maple Plank Branzino with saffron new potato, artichoke salad and baby fennel slaw. Our sweet ending offers you a choice of chocolate caramel cake, buttermilk frozen custard or strawberry preserves.
Our Mother's Day feast is $47 per person which includes the 3+ course meal and bottomless mimosas. Please bring the whole family since we've included special children's pricing of $12 for kids 12 and under.
