The Chattanoogan, a Benchmark Hotel®, honors mothers at its annual Mother’s Day Champagne Brunch. Executive Chef Adam Roe and his talented culinary team will be preparing an incredible meal that is sure to delight moms and their families. This year’s brunch will be served in the hotel’s beautiful ballroom from 10 a.m. – 3 p.m. on Sunday, May 10. The price is $37.95 for adults and $18.95 for children who are six to 12; little ones five and younger eat for free. Reservations are required and may be made by calling (423) 424-3700. The Mother’s Day Champagne Brunch will begin with a variety of mouthwatering starters, such as Peel-and-Eat Shrimp; Smoked Salmon; Pecan Smoked Trout; Chilled Littleneck Clam Salad; Harvest Salad Bar; PEI Mussel Salad; Charcuterie; and Spring Vegetables.
At the Chef’s Action Station, Smoked Prime Rib and Garlic Pork Roast will be served. Melvin will also be cooking his made-to-order omelets, a guest favorite, and chefs will prepare Belgian Waffles.
There will be a large variety of delicious breakfast fare, such as Poached Eggs with Prosciutto and Basil Hollandaise; Farm Fresh Scrambled Eggs; Smoked Bacon; Sausage Links; BSG Hashbrown Casserole; and Southern Buttermilk Biscuits with Sausage Gravy. Other items that will be served include Seafood Cioppino; Lemon and Fennel Braised Chicken; Penne with Roasted Vegetables and Red Pepper Cream; and Caramelized Onion Whipped Potatoes.
Chef Alyssa’s mouthwatering desserts include a White Chocolate Waterfall with dipping items; Red Velvet Cake; Triple Chocolate Cake; Cheesecakes; and Fig and Caramel Bread Pudding.
