July 1st-31st - Our July exhibiting artists incorporate collections from home, nature, and personal history to create their unique works. In her intricate, patterned, ceramic sculptures Kelly Jean Ohl explores the magic of texture through her use of familiar household tools and kitchen utensils. Vicki Essig uses delicate weaving and found objects to show the contrast between the fragile and the strong in her quietly translucent works. Using objects he has collected since childhood, Dan Essig creates mixed-media book structures using fourth-century binding techniques incorporating unusual woods, handmade paper, fossils, and mica.
