You can feel Southern Ohio in Noah Smith’s music. American Rock and Roll with a country accent fills the air when Smith takes the stage. The singer/songwriter musician has been writing and signing since he was just 12 years old growing up along the banks of the Ohio in Brown County. Now the University of Cincinnati College-Conservatory of Music graduate finds himself between home and Nashville as he writes and records his second record. Within Smith’s soothing iconic themed ballads is a revival of heartfelt lyrics mixed with the rock and roll grit. Influenced by his love of family, America, and the quintessential 1980’s jam session, Smith reminds you of your first love, last heartbreak and everything in between. At the ripe old age of 30, he’s an old time rock-n-roller with a big country loving heart.
Smith has been on both local and national stages in several bands but southern Ohio concert is always a welcome homecoming for Smith. He recorded his first record, released just a year ago, at the House of Blues (Nashville). The songs vibrated through the same walls as such artist as Alan Jackson, Gary Allan, and Eric Church. Smith’s music is a capsule of childhood faith, ambition, a little bit of love, God's good word, and the uphill climb to living an American boys dream. From the still waters of Brown County, Ohio, Smith is a true American Songwriter.
