Nick is a single, Italian-American fellah from New Jersey. His parents retired and moved to Florida, leaving him to take care of both sets of his grandparents, whom he visits for dinner every Sunday. This is routine until he has to tell them that he's been offered a dream job — as a big-time marketing executive. The catch? It's in Seattle. 

When he tells his grandparents the news it doesn't sit so well. Thus begins a series of schemes to keep Nick around for good. How could he pick a job over family? His grandparents are completely baffled by this generation's priority of work over wine. Well, Frank, Aida, Nunzio, and Emma all set out to do their level best to stop Nick from ever leaving them. This includes bringing to dinner the lovely — and very single—Caitlin O'Hare. A little bait won't hurt, right?
