Pink! Gala
Chattanooga Convention Center 1150 Carter Street, City of Chattanooga, Tennessee 37401
CHI Memorial Foundation is pleased to announce the 14th annual Pink! Gala will be held on Saturday, January 26, 2019 at the Chattanooga Convention Center. Dr. Lee and Sharron Jackson, and Dan and Amber Norton will co-chair the Foundation’s signature black-tie event. First Tennessee Bank is the presenting sponsor for the 2019 Pink! gala.
The Jacksons and the Nortons have been very involved with the Pink! gala for many years. "We are honored and excited to co-chair this year’s Pink! Gala with the Jacksons. Over the past 13 years, Pink! has raised more than $4 million to further the mission of the MaryEllen Locher Breast Center at CHI Memorial ensuring the women in our community have access to the highest level of breast care available”, say Dan and Amber Norton.
The theme for this year’s gala is “The Greatest Show”. Pink! has set the bar as “the can’t miss event” in the Chattanooga region and 2019 will be no exception. Guests can expect an elegant evening with over-the top décor and entertainment.
"The extraordinary talent of the MaryEllen Locher Breast Center's physicians and staff make it the best in class”, say Dr. Lee and Sharron Jackson. “So dust off your top hat and join us for a night under the “Big Top” supporting awareness and raising money for the fight against breast cancer.”
Proceeds from Pink! are used to ensure the MaryEllen Locher Breast Center at CHI Memorial has the latest equipment and technology available, and provides the highest quality care available to women in need. Proceeds from the 2018 event helped build the fourth MaryEllen Locher Breast Center site located at Atrium Medical Center on Gunbarrel Road which is scheduled to open later this year.
Since the MaryEllen Locher Breast Center opened in 2007, almost 280,000 screening and diagnostic mammograms have been performed at the Center’s three locations and on the mobile mammography coaches.
Pink! is a celebration of life for breast cancer patients and survivors raising more than $4 million since 2006 to ensure our community has access to the most advanced breast cancer treatments available.
