While at SPARK, attendees can experience the mind/body benefits of Yoga, discover the transformative power of Pilates, and feel the restorative capabilities of massage and facial. Attendees will also have the opportunity to connect with personal trainers that can help them unlock their body’s potential for strength and change.
When asked about SPARK, David Brock, SPORTSBARN managing partner, said, “SPORTSBARN’s mission is to enable our members to be active and live active. With SPARK we hope to motivate people to either start a fitness program or discover a new way to improve their quality of life.”
The event begins with a Power Yoga class [all levels] at 5:30PM led by Madia Swicord and a Pilates Mat class, 5:45PM with Power Pilates® certified instructors Brooke Bowman and Shannan Billings. Participation in both classes is free but online registration is required. [www.sportsbarn.net]
Natural Body Spa will be offering complimentary mini-spa services including a demonstration of the NuFace® facial toning system. As a special bonus, Natural Body will also debut a new Spring collection of activewear for Yoga and Pilates. Throughout the evening, everyone will have a chance to win one of seven door prizes such as personal training, massage, skin- and body- care products, and Yoga gear.
The SPORTSBARN training staff will be on hand to answer fitness questions and provide information on individual, specialized and small group training. “Often experienced exercisers will go thru plateaus in their workouts. SPARK will help those individuals explore new paths — and by refreshing their training help them ignite a new level of progress toward their goals,” stated Teresa Wade, SPORTSBARN director of operations and training. For that night only, attendees can take advantage of special package pricing on all types of training including personal, small group, Pilates Apparatus and private Yoga sessions.
SPARK is free and open to everyone. SPORTSBARN membership is not required to attend. For event details and to register for the Yoga or Pilates classes, go online: www.sportsbarn.net.
