Tennessee Vols Day at Barnes & Noble Hamilton Place
to
Barnes & Noble Hamilton Place 2230 Hamilton Place Blvd, Chattanooga, Tennessee 37421
On Saturday, August 24, Barnes & Noble Hamilton Place runs orange to kick off the new Tennessee Vols football season! It’s a day filled with Volunteer activities, specials and surprises. Authors will be discussing and signing their books and the café will be serving up Vol-Aid and lots of Vol Snacks! Four authors will be joining in the fun.
From 2pm to 4pm, Ed McMinn will be signing copies of his books God Bless the Vols and Daily Devotions for Vols Fans. His publishing house, Extra Point Publishers has an aime to “take faith into the real world; to reach sports fans with a Christian message in unexpected, but familiar places.”
Also from 2pm – 4pm, join Thomas Mattingly as he shares stories from Smokey: The True Stories Behind the University of Tennessee’s Beloved Mascot. He’ll also be signing The University of Tennessee Trivia Book, a fun collection perfect for tailgating parties.
From 3pm – 5pm, prominent local journalists Jay Greeson and Stephen Hargis will share their book Game of My Life. These stories come from several significant Tennessee players from the past as they share their fondest single-game experiences and memories, largely in their own words.
The public is invited to this free event in the goal of raising community spirit for a great team. For additional information on the event, please contact Barnes & Noble at 423.893.0186.
