Coolidge Park 1 River Street, City of Chattanooga, Tennessee 37402
Chattanooga’s 1st annual World Laughter Day
Since 1998, World Laughter Day is celebrated to promote World Peace and Good Health Through Laughter.
This is a worldwide celebration - join thousands of health enthusiasts, big and small goof balls that pour into public places in many other cities and countries to laugh for no reason!
Be part of local and state history of the most people laughing for at least 3 minutes for no reason!
Contest of best woman, man and child laughter!
Our wish is to inspire other people to live life laughing, despite the circumstances, and improve their relationships by sprinkling it with some giggles, and improve their health by laughing.
“Laughter as the foundation for reconciliation.” — St. Francis de Sales
" Peace begins with a smile—smile five times a day at someone you don't really want to smile at all—do it for peace. So let us radiate peace…and extinguish in the world and in the hearts of all men all hatred and love for power". — Mother Teresa
You can make somebody’s day by grinning or smiling at them.
This event is free and open to the public.
