Bluewater Grille’s Fall Specials Toast The Season
You’re probably already heading to Bluewater Grille, looking forward, perhaps, to Crispy Crab Risotto Fritters and the Hazelnut Goat Cheese Mahi.
Let’s add a few ways to increase your anticipation of a great meal: great drink choices.
It’s fall, and that means the special Oktoberfest beer, brewed right next door at Big River Brewing Company, is on tap.
This year, says Group Sales Manager Bailey Meredith, “It’s a German-style beer, very malt forward, and delicate on the hops. The best way to describe it is that it’s on the lighter side of amber beer.”
The Oktoberfest brew is only available until it runs out, but will be featured in Bluewater Grille’s flights of beer, which include 6-8 different samples of what’s on tap.
Say you’re a whiskey fancier (and who isn’t?). Bluewater is featuring its very popular Whiskey Ginger Smash cocktail, made with Chattanooga Whiskey (pictured with bartender Mikenzy Smith). That’s just one of the many specialty cocktails their master bartenders can whip up. Another, created for the delights of autumn is the Pumpkin Martini, made with Kahlua, Stoli Vanil Vodka, heavy cream, pumpkin liqueur and a sprinkling of nutmeg. Yum!
Bluewater Grille offers Happy Hour 4 to 7 p.m. Monday through Friday, with $2 off draft beer, $2 off wine and $6 for specialty cocktails. They have a full bar, tended by the mixmasters mentioned above, so our suggestion is to come in early and enjoy a beverage in the relaxed, welcoming atmosphere before your meal.
Bailey Meredith told us that all the special fall-themed drinks are created with the same care and flair that trademark Bluewater Grille and have since it opened in 2006. So what are you waiting for?
