On this visit I had Emily’s Strawberry Shortcake, which brings layers of biscuit-like shortcake, whipped cream and fresh strawberries together to create a not-too-sweet dessert meant for sharing—or keeping to yourself. Emily also makes a deliciously smooth Vanilla Bean Crème Brûlée that is hard to resist as well as assorted cupcakes that will suite any taste.
