Shamarr Allen is a native of New Orleans and a seasoned trumpeter and vocalist. He has been compared to Lenny Kravitz, Patti LaBelle, and Branford Marsalis to name just a few. Not only has he been likened to some of the greats, but he’s played with them. He has jammed with artists such as Leon Russell, Ray Price, and R.E.M.
