Brat Pack classic comes to life in the great outdoors
Chattanooga’s ongoing love affair with free outdoor movies continues with the third go-round of “Movies at Center Park” this Saturday, Sept. 13, beginning at 7 p.m.
Based on votes from viewers, the first film on the three-week slate is the 1985 “Brat Pack” classic The Breakfast Club starring Emilio Estevez, Anthony Michael Hall, Judd Nelson, Molly Ringwald and Ally Sheedy.
The tale of five high school students—all different stereotypes—who meet in detention helped to redefine the “teen flick” genre under the direction of John Hughes.
The story of how they pour their hearts out to each other, and discover they have a lot more in common than they thought has made The Breakfast Club one of the most beloved movies of the ’80s.
Dust off your favorite lawn chair and join your fellow movie-lovers at the park beginning at dusk. Beer, wine, and snacks will be available for your enjoyment.
