CHA ART SPACE, formerly a modular art exhibit, has found a permanent home on the far walls of baggage claim at Chattanooga Airport.
Curated by local artist Carrie Pendergrass, the space has been freshly outfitted with a new juried show titled "Remind Me".
The installation features work from 12 local and regional artists and marks the 16th art installment of the project since its debut in July 2021.
The artists featured in "Remind Me" are Aria Cooper, Beth Daigle, Lauralyn Drake, Amanda Rae Long, Emma McDonell, Melanie Mitchell Tucker, Melissa Newman, Caitlin Rantala, Jill Sattler, Cindy Sbrissa, Courtney Trowman and Gayle Tucker.
For this exhibit, artists were invited to submit two-dimensional works, in any style or medium, referencing warm memories, sentiment or feelings of nostalgia.
All pieces are for sale, with proceeds benefiting both the artists and the continued operation of CHA ART SPACE, which offers free public art exhibits. Organizers encourage viewers to consider purchasing original art, noting that doing so contributes to the community's cultural ecosystem and local economy.
The exhibit runs now through early November 2026. For more information, visit sewntothesea.com/cha-art-space. For art purchase inquiries, email cha.curator@gmail.com.
