The anticipation for cooler temps and fall team sports are playing into this week’s theme at The Chattanooga Market.
Patrons are encouraged to wear their favorite team colors for Team Spirit Day this Sunday. The fanfare will spread to nearly 200 vendors in attendance, many of whom will have made team sports themed arts, crafts and even snack foods and treats.
Live music for this Sunday, August 30th, will be Sloppy Street Tacos for two sets beginning at 12:30pm. The Chattanooga based Indie funk/rock band features Ben Daugherty on guitar, Neal Brite on guitar and saxophone, Hall Hastings on drums, and Brett Tallent on bass and lead vocals.
Fall produce will start to make an appearance in the coming weeks: squashes, sweet potatoes, cabbage, collard greens and carrots. Patrons can “stay in the know” and receive a monthly e-newsletter by registering at chattanoogamarket.com.
