This new concert series offers a dose of springtime sunshine and live music for kids of all ages. Each of the four concerts will be held on a rotating schedule in different Chattanooga neighborhood parks. Schedule: May 10/Riverview Park; May 24/St. Elmo Park; June 7/Heritage Park; and June 21/Jefferson Heights Park. In addition to the headline talent (some of whom are Grammy-nominated artists), the Grasshopper Concerts will open with a local artist or band. Surrounding activities will include activities from the Creative Discovery Museum’s mobile classroom, hula-hooping, bubbles, and a stand where kids can design their own t-shirts. Vendors with ice cream, hot dogs, fresh fruit and drinks will round out the offerings.
