Professional Makeup Artist Apryl Kelli Hughes @ Backlot #35

Join us as we welcome Apryl Kelli Hughes, professional makeup artist and owner of ReMake Me.

Apryl Kelli started to master to art of makeup and hair design at a young age before training in Irish Step Dance at the age of 17. It was around then that she started to explore character play through costuming and dance. She later trained at the The Professional Actors Training Program, headed by Rex Knowles and Sherry Landrum.

'The Backlot' is a mixer designed to connect young filmmakers, independents and working professionals as well as encourage film & video production in the Southeast TN region.

Typical evenings at 'The Backlot' consist of casting calls for upcoming productions, presentations by persons in every area of filmcraft, and screenings of finished projects, works-in-progress and essential classics.

* Admission to 'The Backlot' is free and open to anyone with an interest in the movie-making process.

** As food is potluck, attendees are encouraged to bring a side, covered dish, dessert or non-alcoholic beverage to share.

*** Last but not least, attendees should bring their business cards, head-shots, and / or resumes, as there is plenty of connection time prior to and immediately following the main event.
