Thursday, November 16, 2023, the Photographic Society of Chattanooga will present Billy Weeks. Mr. Weeks has worked as a journalist for over 39 years. Billy got his start as a staff photographer at the Chattanooga Times in 1984. He worked his way up to Director of Photography/Graphics at the Chattanooga Times Free Press in 1999. In 2010, Billy became an independent documentary photographer working throughout the world. Throughout his career, Mr. Weeks has won numerous awards for his work. Billy also teaches at the University of Tennessee-Chattanooga and Southern Adventists University. Mr. Weeks’ presentation will be, “Photojournalism”. The presentation will begin at 7:00 p.m. Visitors are always welcome.
For beginners or anyone looking to improve their photography, join Boot Camp at 6:00pm. Gary Conner will be discussing, “iPhone Photography”.
