The Signal Mountain Playhouse will present Ian Fleming’s classic “Chitty Chitty Bang Bang” on July 8, 9, 15, 16, 22, 23, 29, and 30 at the Playhouse amphitheater just off the main Mountain highway (127 North or Ridgeway Avenue/Taft Highway) on the corner of Rolling Way and James Boulevard. Curtain is at 8 pm but the box office opens at 6 pm for those who wish to buy tickets and place lawn chairs early. Tickets are sold only at the door; there are no advanced ticket sales. Tickets – cash or checks only please – are $5.00 for children 12 and under and $15.00 for ages 13 through adult. Allan Ledford is directing with David Wood choreographing. Sandy Morris is conducting the Playhouse Orchestra, and Michael Huseman is accompanying. The cast is outstanding and made up of veteran actors who have graced many local stages.
