Covenant College’s Drama Association presents a journey into a somber world of mental disabilities through the depiction of one man’s struggle to protect his autistic brother. Following the story of two brothers, Campbell and Ernest, Waiting for the Paint to Dry, is a heart-wrenching tale of decisions and their consequences. Set in present day small town America, the show paints an accurate picture of the stresses one faces trying to balance personal life while caring for someone else.
Waiting for the Paint to Dry opens in Sanderson Auditorium at Covenant College with a preview on Thursday November 14 at 8 p.m. Tickets for the preview are $3 dollars and can be bought at the door. Performances run November 15, 16 and 22 at 8 p.m. and November 23 at 2:30p.m. Tickets are $5 and go on sale November 4.
