Movies in the Park
Bridge Christian Church in Chattanooga will hold its annual Movies in the Park at Dark, starting on Friday, June 21, with “Ice Age: Continental Drift.” The family movies will be shown on a large inflatable screen at Heritage Park, and will begin at dark. The events are free, open to the public, and popcorn will be served. The family movie series will continue on Friday, July 19, when “Wreck-It Ralph” will be shown; and on Friday, August 23, the summer series will wrap up with another feature film. Families are encouraged to bring lawn chairs and blankets to enjoy the shows. Movies will be cancelled for inclement weather.
Movies in the Park at Dark are being shown in partnership with the Chattanooga Parks and Recreation Department. Heritage Park is located at 1428 Jenkins Road in Chattanooga. The 22-acre park has a walking track, playground, picnic tables, bocce ball court, public art, and an off-leash dog park.
