    On Saturday December 1st, chili teams will unload cars full of pots and secret ingredients to take part in the 4th Annual World Heavyweight Chili Championship! Sponsored by DeMoss Capital, the World Heavyweight Chili Championship is one of the top events during MainX24 - the 24 hour festival on Main Street. Along with teams battling for the championship, local bands will top off the day playing on the Loading Dock of Rock! Don't worry, we didn't forget about the kiddos - a Lego Building Competition will be held during the event as well! Here are the basics to compete:

    Team Entry is $50 or Two teams for the price of 1! Team members (limited to 5 people) receive free chili & 2 beverage tickets. Team Check in at 8am - Prepare 5 gallons of your favorite chili recipe (onsite or prepared before & heated at site)10x10 space provided. Teams must provide own cooking source (no electricity provided), table, serving utensils & tent (optional but recommend). Chili is served from 12pm - 4pm to public.

    To eat all your heart can desire: $8 for all you can eat chili - Commemorative Habitat for Humanity Chili bowls $15 - $2 beer. Event Website:  http://www.habitatchilicookoff.com
