Second “Captain America” movie ramps up the drama
It’s been a long time since the public libary was just a place to go read books. Far from it, with the ever-expanding offerings from our own public library system.
Case in point: the Eastgate Saturday Cinema series, which showcases the latest motion pictures and classics on the big screen, a perfect place to bring the kids (and adults) on a Saturday afternoon.
This Saturday, it’s time to dive back into the Marvel Cinematic Universe with “Captain America: Winter Soldier,” which tells the continuing tale of Captain America himself, Steve Rogers, as he not only continues to come to grips with living in the modern world, but also takes on a new nemesis by the name of The Winter Soldier.
The film is rated PG-13, so if you have younger kids, best stick around with them (the action can get pretty intense). And remember to bring your own snacks and drinks.
