4 Bridges Arts Festival
AVA's 4 Bridges Arts Festival™ celebrates its 13th year on April 13 & 14, 2013 at the First Tennessee Pavilion in Chattanooga, Tennessee. The festival is produced each year by the Association for Visual Arts (AVA) and has become a staple in the Southeast, as well as the nation, for presenting some of the finest original artworks made by contemporary artists from around the country.
This annual event that attracts regional and national artists to exhibit their work for sale in Chattanooga, 4 Bridges introduces visitors, amateur art buyers and serious collectors to a variety of uniquely original artwork. This year, approximately 150 artists will be on-site and exhibiting painting, glasswork, jewelry, textiles, furniture, sculpture and more. Art of every shape, size and style was available: familiar alongside whimsical, traditional alongside contemporary.
Each year, festival visitors enjoy live music from talented local and regional performers and a new focus on artisan foods, offering richly diverse dishes from some of Chattanooga's best local restaurants, add to the festival's atmosphere. For budding arts enthusiasts, the Creative Kids Area is free and open to children of all ages, offering original art projects from trained art educators.
Proceeds from the festival benefit the Association for Visual Arts' community programs. For more information, please contact AVA at 423.265.4282.
