1st Annual "Festival of Trees"
The 2013 Christmas season begins with Chattanooga's 1st annual "Festival of Trees" to be held at the Chattanooga Convention Center on Saturday, November 30, and Sunday, December 1. Proceeds benefit Safe Families for Children @ Bethany Christian Services!! The Festival of Trees kicks off with opening ceremonies on Saturday, November 30 at 10am, and will remain open until 8pm that day. The Festival will open again from 12pm until 6pm on Sunday, December 1.
Proceeds benefit Safe Families for Children, a non-profit program that matches people in safe homes with children in need, whether those children's parents are homeless, sick, or in a temporary situation where they just can't take care of their kids. Safe Families for Children is administered in Chattanooga by Bethany Christian Services of Greater Chattanooga, an organization dedicated to serving children of all ages with the goal of every child having a loving family.
