Back Alley Productions invites you to their upcoming production of Alice in Wonderland. The production will take a refreshing approach at both of Lewis Carroll’s classic stories Alice's Adventures in Wonderland and Through the Looking-Glass and What Alice Found There.
Showtimes are Fridays and Saturdays, March 11, 12, 18 and 19 at 7:30 p.m. With a matinee performance on Saturday, March 19 at 1 p.m. The Saturday, March 12 performance will be interpreted for the deaf. Tickets are $8 to $12, based on seating, or $7 per person for group purchases of 15 tickets. School tickets are $5/student.
The production details the story of Alice who, after falling through a mysterious rabbit hole in the English countryside, finds herself in a magically nonsensical fantasy world populated by peculiar creatures including talking flowers, an army of playing cards and dangerous queens. Carroll’s blend of logic games, nonsense and wordplay have gifted the story with longstanding popularity among children and adults.
We are delighted to bring this classic story to life. The characters of this story have reverberated throughout popular culture and we are bringing new life and a fresh angle to some of the most well-known, and not so known, faces.This is a show for the whole family, offering a wide array of unique, interpretative characters and the same classic story told in a fresh, original way.
The cast includes story favorites such as Alice, the White Rabbit, the Mad Hatter, the Queen of Hearts and the Cheshire Cat, to name a few.
