Bessie Smith Strut 2013

The legendary Bessie Smith Strut will take place on Monday, June 10th on Martin Luther King Blvd. Each year the Strut features amazing people, great food and live blues and R&B music on multiple stages. It’s known as the largest block party where Chattanoogans come together and everyone gets along.

Admission is $5 in advance (up until June 8)  without a Riverbend pin/$10 day of festival without a Riverbend pin and $5 with your 2013 Riverbend pin. Tickets will be available for purchase on Wednesday, May 15th at the Bessie Smith Cultural Center and area Kangaroo Gas Stations.

VOLUNTEER OPPORTUNITIES

The Bessie Smith Cultural Center is looking to fill 250 volunteer positions. With help from the community, businesses, and volunteers we can all come together to make this event a huge success for years to come. All volunteer opportunities are being filled through http://www.ihelpchattanooga.org. SHIFTS FOR ALL OPPORTUNITIES ARE FROM 4:00 TO 7:30 OR FROM 7:30 TO 10:30. VENDOR OPPORTUNITIES

Vendor opportunities the Strut are also still available. Vendor pricing for a single booth space is $300 for merchandise vendors and $450 for food vendors. Vendor fees must be paid by CASHIERS CHECK or CASH only.
