The Folk School of Chattanooga presents a Community Contra Dance on Friday, April 22, featuring calling by Chrissy Davis Camp with music by Old Time Travelers. Everyone is invited to experience this lively, traditional social dance. No partners are necessary. All dances are taught in walk-throughs. Toe-tapping live music makes even sitting out enjoyable. Wear comfortable clothes and bring a separate pair of soft-soled shoes for dancing. A contra basics workshop for newcomers will be held at the beginning of the evening -- so plan to come early! General Admission is $8; Students & Folk School Members: $5
